The New release introduces a slimmer design with thinner bezels, crafted from aerospace-grade titanium for enhanced durability without adding weight. In contrast, the iPhone 16 <\/a>has a slightly bulkier build. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 16 series features Apple\u2019s Ceramic Shield, while the iPhone 17<\/a> upgrades to Ceramic Shield 2. Both offer protection against cracks and scratches, but Apple claims the second generation is three times more scratch resistant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The iPhone 17<\/a> also highlights new fresh colours such as \u2018Mist Blue\u2019 and \u2018Violet\u2019. So, the iPhone 17<\/a> has come in with a new aesthetic, setting the bar high for the rest of the models in this new series. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond its design upgrades, the iPhone 17<\/a> features a ProMotion OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering a far smoother experience compared to the iPhone 16<\/a>\u2019s standard 60Hz screen. Powered by the new A19 chip, the iPhone 17 <\/a>delivers greater efficiency and optimized sustained performance, outpacing the A18 chip found in the iPhone 16<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The iPhone 17 can reach up to 2,500 nits of brightness, making it ideal for outdoor visibility and HDR content. An anti-reflective coating, paired with the display\u2019s high brightness, makes the screen easier to view even in bright lighting conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This handset also supports professional grade 8K video recording, while the iPhone 16<\/a> tops out at 4K. The iPhone 17<\/a>\u2019s front camera includes video stabilization and a dual-capture mode, allowing you to record with both cameras simultaneously. The iPhone 17<\/a> models have up to 6 hours longer battery life then the iPhone 16 <\/a>models, also offering up to 30 hours of video playback or 27 hours of streaming. By comparison, the iPhone 16 <\/a>managed up to 22 hours of playback and 18 hours when streaming. Proving that the battery life on this phone is expected to be exceptional. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
