How to Block Private Calls on the iPhone XR<\/b><\/h1>\n

Do you have a private call that you would like to stop having? In the modern world, it is easy to be harassed by someone on the phone. You\u2019ll find that sales calls are a pretty common thing to have to deal with. They\u2019re not fun by any means, and more often than not you\u2019ll be screaming at the representative to leave you alone.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Alternatively, you\u2019ve found yourself an annoyance in your personal life who won\u2019t go away. Whatever the problem, knowing how to block people is always a good idea, and so we\u2019re going to be showing you a variety of different ways that you can do just that.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How to Block Numbers<\/b><\/h2>\n

So let\u2019s talk a little bit about how you block number. It\u2019s not as straightforward as you like, but it can be done quite quickly if you know where to go and which buttons to press.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To begin with, you are going to want to go into your phone app and click on the recent call history. This will show you everyone who has rung you in the last month or so, and you can track down the mobile number which you wish to block.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What you\u2019re going to want to do next is click on the little information button next to the number. This is denoted by the \u201ci\u201d. When you found it, click on it. You\u2019ll then be taken to your contacts section as if you were going to commit the number to the internal memory of the phone. However, you don\u2019t want to do this. Instead, you\u2019re going to want to scroll down to the bottom, and you\u2019ll see an option which lets you block that number. Click it, and you will be unable to receive calls from that number from now on.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to Block Unknown Numbers<\/b><\/h2>\n

Now, blocking unknown numbers is a challenge. Because there is no mobile to block or landline to prevent, it\u2019s more difficult to stop receiving phone calls from people. So, what you\u2019re going to want to do is go into the settings app on your mobile, and click on the do not disturb section. See, if you activate do not disturb, and put it on a 24-hour period, then you can configure it in such a way that you only receive calls from contacts on your phone. Everyone else can\u2019t get through. It\u2019s a great way to block out those unknown\u00a0<\/span>numbers and private calls which are often so vexing.<\/span><\/p>\n

To summarise, these are just a few of the different things that you can do to make sure that you are blocking private calls to your iPhone XR<\/a>. They can be very annoying, and we don\u2019t doubt for a minute but if you could be rid of them, you would. Thankfully, blocking private calls is not a difficult challenge, which means that you can get back to enjoying relative peace and sanity. <\/span><\/p>\n
