fonehouse on the telly!
Watch out for fonehouse on phone shop idol tonight on BBC Two, the mobile industry’s version of The Apprentice (or as one judge puts it “The Pullitzer Prize of mobiles”) as top experts from the industry scour the country for the best mobile phone sales people in the country.

After three months of intense mystery shopping and scrutiny, we’re proud that Andy from fonehouse Sunderland has made it into the final 12 from 24,000 mobile phone sales people in the country.

Using his Geordie charm and wit he’s entertained customers and BBC 2 viewers alike as he continues to fight it out with the other sales people from the rest of the country. Whether it’s dancing around the shop or reeling out features of the latest handsets as he works out in his local gym:

“That’s just what I’m like, dancing around the shop and things like that, I’m no different on camera than I am off it…” he says.

Tonight’s programme sees the candidates meet the judging panel, a mix of millionaire sales experts and tech geeks ready to grill the contestants as they bid to reach the final.  We’re sure the judges will be impressed Andy’s sharp mobile knowledge and lively demeanour and that it sees him through to the final 4 and one step closer to becoming a “phone shop idol”

Tune into BBC Two at 10pm on Tuesday for the next three weeks to see how Andy gets on throughout the contest.
