Release
The Sony Xperia XZ2 is expected to be released in April 2018 following its announcement at the annual Mobile World Congress event in February 2018.
Design
The XZ2 will break away from the more traditional sharp edged design that we’ve come to recognise as Sony’s trademark, by introducing curved edges which will undoubtedly make the phone much more comfortable in hold and to use. Plus, with Gorilla Glass 5 across the front and back surrounded by aluminum casing, you can be sure that your phone is ready to withstand all the bumps of daily life.
Features
A 5.2 inch display with Sony’s dynamic vibration system, a Full HD+ HDR display and Sony’s BRAVIA TV Technology make for a viewing experience unlike any other. Add to that powerful stereo speakers and you won’t be able to wait to enjoy your favourite movies and videos on your smartphone.
The XZ2 features an impressive 19MP camera with innovative motion eye technology, meaning that your photos will be stunningly life like in any conditions. Plus Sony have presented the world’s first 4K HDR Video recording technology with the XZ2, allowing you capture all of your most precious memories in the highest of video quality.
Running on Snapdragon 845, the XZ2 features Sony’s fastest processor yet, meaning that you can experience exceptional speed and performance at all times. Whether that means running multiple apps or streaming from the web, there’ll be no more waiting around for your phone to catch up.
Price
The Sony Xperia XZ2 will retail at £689 SIM free, which, while not as expensive as some of the more recently released high end smartphones, will still be a little steep for some buyers. With that in mind there are still a great range of pay monthly offers and upgrade deals available. Plus, if you pre order now you can get your hands on a fantastic pair of Bose headphones for free!Launch Date
